Tuition Assistance Information
Inherent in Rockland Country Day’s mission is our dedication to creating an inclusive community that mirrors the socioeconomic diversity of our communities.
Our Tuition Assistance Program is one of the most far-reaching of any independent school, providing aid to more than half of the student body. We are committed to helping to make an RCDS education available, regardless of a student’s economic means, by bridging the gap between what a family can pay and the cost of tuition. Each family receiving a tuition grant is expected to contribute positively to the school community, to maintain an acceptable academic standard, be in good standing financially, and demonstrate positive social behavior.
The program has a limited budget and is administered on a first come, first served basis. All families must pay some tuition. The maximum award offered is 80% of tuition. RCDS maintains the level of tuition assistance provided to a family unless the family’s circumstance requires a change.
RCDS uses TADS, an online program, at www.tads.com, which helps independent schools across the country determine grant awards for eligible families. Once you decide that you would like your child to attend RCDS, our admissions team will provide you with the information you need for TADS.
