Thank you for your interest in Rockland Country Day School (RCDS). Currently celebrating 50 years since its founding in 1959, the school focuses on an individualized approach to education for each of its students. The school’s college preparatory program emphasizes critical thinking and creative expression and its exceptional college preparatory program has enabled students to be successful both academically and socially.

The school is located on a sprawling 20 acre campus of open and wooded land. It houses the Children’s School, Middle School, and Upper School, Library, and Art Studio. We also have athletic fields, and an outdoor amphitheater where we hold school assemblies in nice weather. In addition, there is an organic garden that is used in the science classes and the vegetables are harvested and used in our school’s healthy lunch program.
