The Blue Light Café is presented several times per year, featuring The Friday Band (RCDS middle and upper school students) performing their original songs for a live audience and hosted by Songwriting and Friday Band instructor, Billy Roues. In the past the Friday Band has performed at the Venture Center Theatre in Sparkill NY, the Turning Point in Piermont, NY, at The RCDS Music and Arts Festival in 2006 and in the Band Room at RCDS. Several Friday Band members have also performed at local fundraisers as well. This year there will be two official performances.

The Blue Light Cafe will participate with an abbreviated program on Founder’s Day Weekend (October 2). The second date will be November 21, and the final Blue Light will be May 1 at the Venture Center Theatre.
