Welcome to the Rockland Country Day School website.  At RCDS our students thrive academically and socially through our commitment to focusing on the individual.  This pedagogical devotion is the key to helping students at RCDS reach their highest potential, prepare for leadership opportunities, and excel in college and beyond.

An obligation of parenthood is to provide one’s child with every opportunity to receive the best possible education.  When researching independent schools it is important to find the one that is the right fit for your child.  At RCDS we understand this and work diligently to solidify the “fit” between our students and teachers, allowing all our students to experience high level classroom learning and to feel appreciated and celebrated for who they are. The intimacy of our school community provides teachers and administrators the opportunity to reach every student, never neglecting the importance of the individual.  At RCDS we also enjoy a healthy partnership with our parents.  Together we promote intellectual growth while supporting social and emotional development.
